RE: Use of Clem's Cabin

The French Broad River Garden Club Foundation is very pleased to have you use the historical Clem's Cabin and tour the gardens. Unfortunately, because of the rising costs especially utilities, cleaning expenses and insurance the Foundation must require two separate checks; a refundable $100 deposit check and a $75 User's Fee check for a half day. If set up time is required prior to the day of the event, there will be an extra fee of $50 to have the Cabin unlocked and ready.
The Deposit is refundable after the Building Chairman has inspected Clem's and it is in as good condition or better than before use.
The Building Chairman will be glad to schedule the use on the Foundation calendar and meet you at the property to give you the keys and guidelines for using the cabin. Please do not hesitate to ask her any questions concerning the property.

Guidelines for Using Clem's Cabin

Please contact Buildings Chairman to set up a time to open the cabin.
**SMOKING and CANDLES prohibited in cabin**
PARKING
When Leaving Cabin Make Sure:

All lights are turned off.

Return thermostat to 55 degrees.

Kitchen, trash baskets and refrigerator are totally cleaned out.

Chairs are left as they were found.

Floor is swept clean
-
Doors and windows are locked and key is returned to Building’s Chairman.

Do not use the fireplace.

Note: the light switch for the outdoor light in the parking lot is located inside the office door, directly left of the desk on the wall. It is labeled
